Designer Notes

DL is the most common size of envelope, it’s the size you receive in the mail with formal letters or bills. It’s designed to perfectly fit A4 paper folded into 3. Our envelopes are made in Australia, they feature a stylish, v-shaped flap and are gummed so that they seal easily once moistened slightly.

The paper used to make these envelopes has a metallic finish on both sides and a very light texture to it, giving it just a little something extra over perfectly smooth stock. It’s 120gsm, which feels substantial to the touch.

Curious Cryogen White is matte ivory with a lightly speckled silver finish making it (in our opinion) understated and absolutely stunning. It’s available in card, paper and envelopes in a range of different sizes to suit the needs of your project.

If you’d prefer a more traditional metallic ivory finish, take a look at Stardream Quartz or Romanesque White Champagne. The Curious Metallic range features beautiful papers with mineral pigments to create an intense metallic shimmer. It feels luxurious and is perfect for invitations or any project that needs a little sparkle. The paper and card is compatible with laser printers and is suitable for embossing, foiling, varnishing and other treatments, but we always recommend testing first.
